He was the Executive VP, COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), and an essential member of PHLX’s strategic management team. The Exchange was eventually sold to NASDAQ OMX. Mr. Steisel coordinated PHLX participation in integration activities and transition planning with NASDAQ OMX.
